Hi Brooklyn :D

Can u clarify exactly what he is doing? Is he charging you in the field, when you are leading him? Is his ears pinned back when he is doing this, baring his teeth wanting to bite you or being aggressive or is he just being energetic and think he is playing with you?

Has he always been like this or has he just started this behavior?

There is a big difference but both need sorting out because it is unacceptable behavior. If he is 7 months he is still a baby and needs training…..full stop. All horses need some sort of training. If you think he is rough now wait until he is fully grown and weighs 1500 pounds or more and he is wanting to walk all over you.

An aggressive horse will have no regards for your safety and will hurt you. If he is just being playful and at that age they normally are then he just hasn’t learned about what is ok and that he is invading your personal space. Either way get someone in with some experience to sort it out.

Good luck! Let us know how you go!:)

don't give up just yet. 7 months is still young enough to create better habits. Are you training yourself?

I agree don't give up yet! Is the horse acting agressive towards you? Both of you might benefit from training.
