is it okay to put a miniature horse in the same pasture w/ the rest of my horses? i'm not going to keep the miniature horse out in the big pasture at all times, but if i want to give him more room. or is it just a matter of the horses all getting along?

i used to own a miniature that i kept out with my horses and had no problems. but i've realized that it's probably best not to keep a mini with your bigger horses because they are so small and even if they all get along with each other, the mini could easily get hurt during play. if i go another mini i would not keep him in the same pasture as my horses and i advise against it but like i said i had no problems with it in the past.
