is it okay to give my horse treats of apples, carrots, etc daily? or should they be given in more moderation?

i used to giv my mare treats almost everytime i went out to see her during the day. so she definately got them daily and i had no problems with her. as long as i let her know that she wasn't allowed to run me over trying to get them....and usually i made her do something then gave her a treat. like make her back up or do a trick or something and then gave her the treat when she did what i asked. i usually gave her pickles or dried pineapple and i had no problems with her health or nutrition by giving her these daily(daily for almost 7yrs) so i don't think you'll have any problems.
