I get so eager when I find somewhere that looks cool and has a nice group of people that I sometimes fail to introduce myself.

Well here I am and here I will talk. Hope to see everyone around.

Welcome to the forums! I do the same, browse first & then start posting.. Never too late for an introduction though. I have found this forum to be very helpful & a lot of friendly people to communicate with that have great horse stories & knowledge!

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Do you have horses? If so tell us a bit about them :)

I have one horse currently a Traditional Tennessee Walker. He is a bit long in the tooth at 18. And in all honesty I haven't had a lot of time to ride recently.

He is more of a lawn ornament and oversized dog. The wife wants to get back into riding and we probably wil. But to make that a reality I need to upgrade my pet, and purchase two or three others.

So before doing that I need to get back in the mood so i will be chatting here about the situation.

Hi everyone,
I have a ranch where we board horses and I also have an information website all about horsekeeping for the novice rancher. We moved from downtown montreal to a horse ranch in the country with absolutely no prior experience about horses. And we are loving every minute of our new lives. cheers everyone

Congratulations ! It is quite a different lifestyle, but definitely worth every minute of it.

Ranch and farm life can be very spiritually fulfilling and a complete joy. However the stresses of 24/7 animal maintainance can weigh on you as well.

Growing up I had the chore of keeping the horses in the stables fed and the stalls clean. Very very difficult life but in retrospect it was something that instilled hard work and a desire to succeed in me.

Horses are awesome and well worth the time if you have the money to spend on them.
