Hello!
Firstly what type of riding do you do and what purpose do you want it for?
If you are riding daily then its not a good saddle. Kincade are top of the low end and if you are going to be using it a lot then a cheap saddle wont last the wear and tear. If you are riding occassionally then it would be ok as long as it fits your horse. My friend rode in a Kincade for a while and then ended up buying a good quality, second hand Courbette saddle.
Are you looking for a leather saddle or a synthetic saddle?
I ride in a Wintec synthetic saddle because I can change the size of the saddle so I know that I can use it on different horses in the future or as my horse changes shape.
I personally like the Wintec saddle better as it seems tougher and is easier to clean for everyday riding and have a Bates leather saddle for showing.
You should be able to get a good new saddle for well under $400 either new or used. Whatever you choose just make sure it fits your horse :)

Hi,
Dover Saddlery has some closeouts on some really nice saddles. Some of the Circuit line, others from different *good* brands. I have seen some for only 399. These are either closeouts, slightly blemished, or other blemishes. Check it out. I bet they won't last long!!!

To be completely honestly i dislike this brand of saddle.
They are downgraded in Australia and people turn more to (Wintec, EuroHunter etc.)
But it is personal preference.

Due to my quixotic search for a saddle to fit my boy, I have learned to shy away from buying online, especially on Ebay or another auction site. My best recommendation is to find a place around you that sells used saddles...for 400, you can probably find a very good name brand middle to high end used saddle.
