what is a racking horse? i really have no clue could someone help me?

It's a breed that came from the Tennessee Walking Horse. You can find out just about everything you need to know about them right here :

Ah the racking horse. You are correct it is a supsidiary of the Tennessee Walker a breed that is also a derivative of others.
Generally speaking a Saddlebred has a racking gate, it is a very smooth ride where the animals lifts it's knees higher and rocks the rider left and right with very little up an down motion.

Guess I should have popped in to answer this question. A racking horse is indeed a "supsidiary" of the Tennessee Walker and many of them are dual registered.
However a racking horse has a few key differences in it's gate. A pure Tennessee walker will throw it's front feet foward in almost a shuffle when it has it's gate engaged. A Racking horse on the other hand tends to pick up it's knees in a very choppy motion.
