What is everyones recommendation on Morgans. Good horses bad horses or adequate. They are draft animals and I think belong to the line of cold blooded horses.
I am thinking using one for cart pulling and doing some work around the farm at Christmas next year. Yes Christmas.

Man, I can only dream of being that organized! I think you're right about the blood. Don't have anything else to offer but being impressed you're thinking Christmas in March!

Morgans are great!
They are versatile, tough little horses that you can ride and will also pull carts and work with the best of other horses.
They are not cold bloods...cold bloods are the bigger more heavy set horses & are docile. Morgans have a bit more 'pep' in them and are officially classed as warmbloods which is great cos you get the best of both worlds :)

I'm not totally new to horses. I know a bit about differnet breeds. This cold vs. warm bloods has baffled me. Could anyone explain it. thank you!
