Northern Georgia

Excellent riding in the north Georgia moutains. This is the start of the Appalachian trail area for hikers and offers excellent views year round. Hopefully all those in Atl will never fully figure out how great the riding is in this area.

Most of my family live in Northern Ga and the trails are just breathtaking. I wish I could get them all into riding. I've thought about moving back there just for that.

Most certainly. I think that this area is one of the most underappreciated areas in the country.

I love Ga for riding. Went with my boyfriend (the true horse lover) last fall and we fell in love with the scenery. Great camping there as well. Hope Ga gets some more rain this spring...

Northern GA east or west. I love the east mountains around Dahlonega. GA; west around Chatsworth has a great community too. Any great stories?
