TB Horse Brand Help!

I just got a TB mare for a Trial period (As i might be buying her) I dont yet have her papers and would like to know who bred her.

On her left side she has a M, and on her right side she has a 45 over a 6.

Any help is appriciated. (SP?)

Hi Lauren

There are 2 ways about this.....

1. Ask the current owners and ask just to look at her papers, they shouldn't have a problem with you having this information if you are buying her.

2. If she is branded then she is registered with the Department of Agriculture in the state she was bred. If you know this then contact that state and they will be able to trace the brand and her breeding for you.
