i just bought a new saddle and was wondering the best oil to use? or can i make some myself? anyone ever done that?

Hi!
What kind and brand of saddle did you get? Is it leather or synthetic?
On leather you can use just plain old olive oil but i prefer a good quality saddle oil that has a trace of bees wax in it. It gives the saddle a nice shine and stops the leather drying out so fast.
Good luck with your saddle.....did you get it fitted by a saddler?
