biggest environmental concerns

What are your biggest environmental concerns? I am really worried about our drinking water. In this country there should be absolutly no question that our water is clear and good for consumption. But where I live the river that runs right through the heart of our city is always being posted with No Swimming or Drinking orders due to contamination. This is an outrage in this day and time!

I agree with you and the crazy part is when you see cities with these types of signs up and they are generally just ignored by the public who continues to let their kids play in the water. Me, I live on the coast so I worry about what global warming is going to do the oceans and their rising levels. My home could potentially be under water in the next 20 years if Al Gore is right!

The question for me, "Is organic any better than regular?" They still grow it in the same soil that has all of the gunk in it. Is it really that much better?
