clipping

should we be clipping our horses. they seem happy and healthy and hair is not really out of control. not show horses. neighbors are clipping their non-show horses. am i wrong? any health benefits to clipping?

If your thinking of clipping now, don't. Winter coats will be shedding out now that spring is here.
SOme people clip show horses or blanket horses in winter to keep the winter coat from coming in.
