obesity in America

I think it is obscene the number of overweight children there are in this country. Adults have the right to eat and do what they choose but don't bring that lifestyle onto your kids! What can we do about these rising health issues in our children?

i think we need to tackle this maybe in our schools. these kids obviously aren't learning good nutrition at home. schools around here are going "healthy". it is sooo sad to see these obese children, especially the really young ones.

Stop giving so much homework to the kids so they can get out and play after school. I have a HUGE bone to pick about this. Teachers have them all day . . give their minds and bodies a healthy break!!

I think they should be required to go out and exercise their horse daily, care for them and their stalls. That would take care of a lot of it. My kids are very fit!

Here! Here! It seems like today most kids spend more time traveling back and forth to activity than at the activities themselves. You know, the place where their heart could race with excitement about riding and the cardiovascular action as well. The down mental brain time couldn't be any better for them either. Relax, dream, use that imagination that the are riding our West and see it. Sounds like a great companion to studies to me.
