We took in a horse this week. Sadly though, we are dealing with a good case of rain rot. I ususally use bededine soap but doesn't seem to be working? Any other ideas?

have you tried MTG. This usually works for me but can take a few weeks to see some results, hair will gradually start filling in. There are other products and anti fungals at your local tack shop. Try a few and see what works for you.

Teatree oil shampoos have good antifungal and antibacterial properties. Humans use them for dandruff, and I've seen a lot of pet ones for dry skin. I use a teatree oil salve for Hoovey's cuts and any little fungus patches he gets. It seems to work very well.

I've been successful with tea tree oil products too. I always like staying in the natural world whenever possible. It makes good sense to me!
