Hello all,
I've been looking at saddles for my boy. We currently have a synthetic Big Horn cordura that works pretty fine, so it's not terribly pressing. However, I would really like to eventually get him a nice leather saddle, one I can hopefully keep around for maybe even after him.
Here's why I'm looking treeless:
- Hoover is high whithered. He has the classic standardbred shoulder, so he's hard to fit.
- Treeless are light. I don't want to stick more than thirty pounds on him.
- From what I understand, Treeless should fit most horses, meaning it should be a nice long term investment, and I should be able to use it on other horses.
I'm liking the Bob Marshall Treeless Trails right now. http://www.sportssaddle.com/
What are your thoughts?
