I know of a fine Rocky Mountain Stallion for sale. His name is Jim Bob. He once carried his owner’s daughter-in-law and two small children - one in front, one in back, in a parade (following a marching band) and never turned a hair. If you are interested, I can send you a picture of him. The picture was taken just before he is about to be ridden in yet another parade by a friend of the owner. His owner, George-Ellen Gay-Swinford, thinks nothing of lending him out to friends to be ridden in parades behind brightly colored floats, fire engines, and Shriners in funny-looking hats. She once gave a 12-year-old child riding lessons on him. He is a brave, gentle, affectionate horse, and loves attention. He is gentler than a lot of geldings his age. He makes awfully good foals as well, and is extremely fertile.
The above horse has been sold. I would like to thank the people who were kind enough to inquire about him. Please know that there are a lot more gentle Rocky Mountain Horse out there ready and willing to be your next trail or show horse. Check out the Rocky Mountain Horse website: www.rhhorse.com.
George Ellen is getting older, and caring for so many horses is becoming an issue. She is trying to reduce her herd of Rockies, so she needs to sell him. I can also send you a copy of his pedigree.
He is out of Tuttle stock on a straight line to Old Tobe on his father’s side. Cisco’s Dolly, his mother, was a chocolate foundation mare with a classic Rocky Mountain gait.
If you think you might be interested in this good old boy, please contact George Ellen Gay-Swinford at the following address -2593 East County Road 150 Milan-Versailles Pk., Milan, Indiana 47031. Or e-mail her at the following e-mail address:
