Our daughter is having knee surgery this week and her request was: "Mom, let's ride on Sunday." No way was I going to tell her we were too busy or had something else planned. Kids 'n Horses - that's what it is all about.

Our friend, April, wishfully asked, "Do you have a horse that I could ride?" Well, of course we do. April wants to learn and Bubbles stepped up to the task.

So, even with the wind blowing 90-to-nothing, it was a gorgeous day and off we all went for a trail ride. Our friend, Ginger, brought her friend John. Ben and I hosted a whole company of riders and the day was such fun.

You just can't get any closer to Heaven than riding American Foundation Arabian Horses under the blue skies of Texas!

KA Golden Bubbles with April (first time rider)
KA Enchanted Wind with Katie
Mont Sharafa with Ben

Ginger's gelding is a half-Arabian named Santanna. We will have to convert John over to Arabian horses.

That looks like a great trail. I wish it was more like that here in washington where its so bumpy.
